Recently ORAGE traveled to the Journée de Beauceron where America's elite Beaucerons meet to compete. ORAGE went as a spectator and returned a champion. Her parents had not entered her into the competitive events, given her role as a pet and family member. But after one of the event organizers suggested it ("She's a great dog!!"), ORAGE was entered into the competition. When all was said/barked and done, ORAGE emerged as Meilleur Femelle - Ouvert (Best Female - Open Class) and second best female in show. Wow.
Along the way ORAGE picked-up a few more honors, including
Excellent
in conformation and behavior (double Wow) and an AKC "Canine
Good Citizen" award. Now that
ORAGE is officially a Good Dog ...
